In short: we collect the minimum needed to correct your texts, prevent abuse and process payments. No advertising, no data resale, no advertising cookies.

Who is responsible

The website and the service are operated under the TCF Canada Coach brand. For any question about your data: hello@tcfcanadacoach.com or the contact page. Payments are processed by Waffo, acting as Merchant of Record, which handles payment data under its own privacy policy; the seller information is shown on the checkout page.

Data we process

Your texts and reports: the text you submit, the prompt and the report produced.
Your spoken answers: the audio recording you send for a speaking correction is used only to produce the transcript; it is not kept. We keep the transcript, the length of the recording and the report, as for a written text.
Technical identifiers: a random device identifier (cookie vid) and, after a purchase, your account access (cookie acct). We only keep a hashed fingerprint of your access link.
Connection data: your IP address is used to apply daily limits; we only keep a fingerprint that changes every day. We also record the country derived from the connection.
Where your first visit came from: landing page, referring site and campaign parameters (utm), to learn which content is useful.
Purchases: plan, amount, date, the payment provider’s reference and, if the provider sends it, the payer’s email address.
Messages: what you write to us through the contact form, and the email address you give.
Official result (optional): if you report the score you got in the TCF or TEF from one of your reports, we store it with that report, with no name or document, to compare our estimate with real results and improve it.

We never receive your card details.

Why

To produce your corrections and let you find them again.
To limit free usage and prevent abuse.
To process payments, refunds and your requests.
To measure, in aggregate, which pages and channels bring users.
To improve the reliability of the estimate with the official results you choose to report.

AI processing

Your texts are analysed by an artificial-intelligence model running on Cloudflare Workers AI infrastructure. They are sent only to produce your report. We do not publish or sell them.

For a speaking correction, your recording is transcribed by a speech-recognition model that also runs on Cloudflare Workers AI, and the transcript is then analysed like a text. The recording is processed in memory for the duration of the request and is never saved to our database or to any file storage.

Who we share data with

Cloudflare: website hosting, database and running the AI model.
Waffo, our authorised reseller (merchant of record), and where offered PayPal: payment and tax processing, under their own privacy policies.

We do not share any data for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

We use two technical cookies (vid and acct) and your browser’s local storage to keep your drafts and your access link. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers are used.

Retention

Texts, transcripts and reports: up to 12 months after your last activity, then deleted.
Audio recordings: not kept (discarded as soon as the transcript is ready).
Daily limit counters: a few days.
Orders: as long as our accounting obligations require.
Messages: while we handle your request, then up to 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to us from the contact page. For account data, include your access link or your order reference so we can check it is you. We reply within 30 days.

Minimum age

The service is meant for people aged 16 and over.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change; the update date is shown at the top of the page.
