Terms of use

These terms apply to the use of the TCF Canada Coach website and its correction service (“the service”). By using the service you accept them. For any question, write to us from the contact page.

The service is operated under the TCF Canada Coach brand. Contact: hello@tcfcanadacoach.com. Payments are processed by Waffo, acting as Merchant of Record: Waffo is the seller of the transaction, and the seller information is shown on the checkout page and on your receipt.

1. The service

TCF Canada Coach corrects practice texts for the TCF Canada and TEF Canada writing tests with an artificial-intelligence model. Each report contains an estimated NCLC and CEFR level, corrections, a per-criterion assessment and a model answer. This content is generated automatically by artificial intelligence (model used: gpt-oss-120b (OpenAI), Cloudflare Workers AI) and can contain errors.

TCF Canada Coach also corrects speaking practice answers, recorded or typed. A recording is first transcribed automatically (speech-recognition model: whisper-large-v3-turbo (OpenAI), Cloudflare Workers AI); the assessment is based on that transcript. Pronunciation and intonation are not assessed, and the transcript can contain recognition errors.

TCF Canada Coach is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or appointed by France Éducation international, CCI Paris Île-de-France or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Levels and scores shown are estimates for learning purposes: they are not official results and do not guarantee any exam result.

The service gives no immigration advice. Information about IRCC requirements is quoted with its source and date; always check it on the official website.

2. Access and account

You can use the free preview without an account. At your first purchase an account is created automatically and you receive a personal access link. The link replaces a password: keep it private. Anyone who has it can use your corrections. If you lose it, contact us with proof of purchase to get a new one.

3. Plans and payment

• Plans (correction packs, 30-day pass) and their prices are shown on the Pricing page, in US dollars.
• Every purchase is a one-time payment with no automatic renewal.
• Payments are processed by Waffo, our authorised reseller, which acts as Merchant of Record and applies your country’s taxes; the seller information is shown on the checkout page. PayPal may also be offered. We never receive your card details.
• Pack corrections do not expire. A correction is used when a full report is produced or unlocked, for a text or a spoken answer alike. A correction that fails is not used.
• The pass gives unlimited corrections for 30 days from payment, within a fair-use limit of 20 corrections a day.

4. Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of purchase, under our refund policy.

5. Your texts

You remain the owner of the texts you submit. You allow us to process them only to produce and keep your reports, and to compile anonymous statistics to improve the service. Do not include sensitive personal data about yourself or others. Model answers written for you can be used freely for your preparation.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the service in an automated or bulk way, try to get around its limits, resell corrections, or submit unlawful or hateful content or content that infringes the rights of others. We may suspend access in case of abuse.

7. Liability

The service is provided with care, but automatic corrections can contain errors or omissions. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months. We are not responsible for decisions taken on the basis of an estimate, such as registering for an exam or an immigration application.

8. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee it. We may change the service and these terms; the update date is shown at the top of this page. Past purchases remain governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.
